Interview Q&A
How long have you been in business?
The company has been incorporated since 1981. I came in as an employee in 1988 and became a partner in 1991. In 2001, I became the president.
What is your primary product or service?
Right now web videos for businesses, non-porfits and government constitute about 50% of the business. TV Spots and TV Shows constitute about 30% and 20% is pure market research (man on the street consumer interviews, ethnography and focus groups).
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I started as an actor in the Teen-Children's Theater program at Dallas Theater Center and by high-schoo, I was an assistant teacher there. I also bought a Super-8mm film camera at that time and fell in love with making films. I majored in Film/Communications in college in NY and worked as a production assistant on tv shows and feature films in NY & LA before returning to Dallas and joining Channel Three Productions.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We have won 23 Telly Awards for our work and have won hundreds of bids for State-wide contracts, so our quality of work, credentials and our pricing is difficult to beat. But what really sets us apart is that unlike many of the top echelon production companies, we are very humble, customer-service oriented and grateful for the work. We work with our clients to understand their needs and fulfill their vision in the way we think works best. I grew up in my parent's clothing store and learned how to provide personal, committed customer service in real-world practice.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I'm based in Dallas, but regularly travel and work as a local in Austin, Houston, San Antonio, OKC, Shreveport and Little Rock, among other locations. I fly to jobs further away when necessary, but also have a network of qualified, like-minded service professionals in many major cities.
Provide detailed directions to your location

What type of payments do you accept?
Cash, checks, and all major credit cards
Which areas do you service?
Texas-Oklahoma-Arkansas-Louisiana
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Brad Ruekberg, President
What are your hours of operation?
7 Days a week, all hours of the day, but by appointment only and we typically book-up 2 weeks in advance.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
"You captured my objective/vision and exceeded my expectations."
What is your favorite quote or Bible verse?
My own personal quote I coined is "I'd rather be redundant than remiss." In other words, I may ask a client to clarify their needs more than once so that we all have a clear understanding including the client understanding their own needs. I'm also known to remind - even nag or nudge if necessary - whatever it takes to get answers and move forward. I've found that it has become more and more necessary to be persistent like this with each passing year.
